The California Foundation for Occupational Therapy (CFOT) was founded in 1981 as a nonprofit, public benefit organization to help support students, practitioners, and researchers advance their knowledge and skills, thereby enhancing occupational therapy services to the public.
Since its inception, many scholarships, traineeships, and grants have been awarded annually. In addition, CFOT's goal is to educate the public about the potential
benefits of occupational therapy services.
Browse this website to learn more about CFOT. Your tax-deductible contributions will make it possible to continue these efforts. Please join us in achieving these goals.
I would like to thank everyone involved at the California Foundation for Occupational Therapy for generously granting me an OTA Traineeship Award. Words cannot
describe how grateful I am for your generosity and willingness to afford me the opportunity to fulfill my education goals. By receiving this, I can wholeheartedly focus on my passion of becoming the
best Occupational Therapy Assistant that I can be!
Again, I am deeply honored that you chose me as a recipient and I promise to proudly serve my community in all my future endeavors.
With sincerest gratitude,
Kelsey Bowles, OTAS
